Cerimonies
Pay the Earth Ceremony (Pachamama) : Approximate time: 2 hours or more (according to the number of people. Maximum 15 people). A payment or offering to the Earth is an ancient ancestral custom of indigenous Andean cultures. The ceremony, led by a Shaman, is an offering of small amounts of native Andean cereals, grains and fruits together with coca leaf. In the ceremony, the Apus, who are the sacred mountain deities, and the four elements are invited and the three levels of life (hanan pacha: the world above, kay pacha: this world, and ukhu pacha: the underworld) are represented by the components of the offering and a ritual toast (challa) is drunk with chicha de jora (native corn beer). The ceremony ends with the ritual burning of the offerings so that they can return from whence they came, rising into the sky while the remaining ashes are buried in the earth to complete the cycle.
Renewing Vows : Approximate time: 2 hours. A ceremony of ancient ancestral origins used in Andean cultures to renew and revalue promises. The ceremony, led by a Shaman, is an oration addressed to the beloved couple in which an offering is made of small amounts of native Andean cereals, grains and fruits together with coca leaf of very ancient traditions, from which a mystical blend is achieved to intensify feelings for the loved one. In the ceremony the Apus, who are the sacred mountain deities, and the four elements are invited and the three levels of life (hanan pacha: the world above, kay pacha: this world, and ukhu pacha: the underworld) are represented by the components of the offering and a ritual toast (challa) is drunk with chicha de jora (native corn beer). The ceremony continues with aromatic herbs, incense and natural perfume therapy accompanied by songs (Ikaros), sounds, crystals and stones to be able to find the hidden inner crystal of being connecting to mother earth and the four elements, sharing as a couple the whole mystery of the renewal of desired commitment and the rising of their joined souls into the cosmos. The ceremony ends with the ritual burning of the offerings so that they can return from whence they came, rising into the sky while the remaining ashes are buried in the earth to complete the cycle to affirm the committed relationship in time and space.
